You're Almost There!
I have a daughter who just graduated in 2018. I know for a fact that your Senior Year is SUPER HUGE to you! You've made it this far with just a little ways left to go. Be proud of yourself and enjoy these last few moments before you move on to another chapter of your lives. Part of capturing that sensational feeling is freezing it in a moment of time with your Senior Photos. I realize there are a lot of photographer options out there. Rest assured however, that by choosing me, I promise I will do my best to make it a fun and memorable experience and produce photos that will be cherished for lifetimes to come.
We have to get to know each other. Your Senior Photos are extremely important to you and your family so making sure you are comfortable with me as well as knowing what to expect the day of the photoshoot is just as important.
I would love the opportunity to speak with you over the phone or better yet, in person, prior to the day of the shoot. I love me some Starbucks so we could always meet there. (My treat of course) . We’ll take this opportunity to discuss locations, wardrobe, and all the ideas you have for your dream session! After all, the photos are all about you! Your session should be fun, productive, and creative and that's what I strive for.
THE DAY OF THE SHOOT
Photo Sessions for Seniors start at one (1) hour and one location. Additional time and locations can be added on when you book. I do not limit the number of 'looks' or outfits you can use. You are welcome to change as many times as you want. :) I also have a portable changing room that I bring with me so you don't have to keep going back to the car to change.
Yeah, you know... HMUA! You might be thinking, 'Hummuah, what?' HMUA stands for 'Hair and Makeup Artists.' Many times, Seniors do their own hair and makeup for their photoshoot, or they have a friend or family member like their mom or sister do it for them. However, there are times that you might want it to be one less hassle to deal with. While hair and makeup is definitely not my area of expertise (grin), I do have those that I can refer to you for your big day if you would like it done professionally.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
One of the best parts of getting your Senior Photos taken is being able to actually SEE the finished product! In addition to scheduling your photoshoot, we will also schedule a SECOND appointment for the 'big reveal.' When we get together, you will be able to see your edited images IN HAND! Yes, that's right! While other photographers let you simply scroll through your images on a computer, I like to do things differently. Having a tangible, feel it in your hands, kind of experience is much better than scrolling through tons of images on a screen. You and whomever you'd like to bring with you can pass photos back and forth, rearrange them as you see fit, make groupings or collections, etc. Having that option in your hands lets you experience a better way of choosing what photos you want.
Guess what else! You actually have the option to PURCHASE your proofs right then and there! That's right! You have the opportunity to take home ALL of your edited photos with you when you leave if you so desire!
INVEST IN YOURSELF
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due when booking your session. Doing so locks in your date and availability. The remaining balance on the session fee is due before or on the date of the photoshoot. All session fees cover the initial consult as well as any other communication before or after the photoshoot, the photographer’s time and talent during the photo shoot, image editing, and the 'Drum Roll' session to reveal your final images and finalize your order.
You are very important to me and I take great care to spend quality time editing your photos. I strive to make the finished product more than what you expected. While I have packages to fit every budget, please understand that this is an opportunity to invest in yourself.
When you book, you’ll complete the online contract and pay the deposit fee. I can accept cash, check, and either credit or debit cards in person, but paying your deposit online must be in the form of credit or debit. For larger, more expensive packages, orders can be broken up into three equal payments. Please bring this up during the initial consultation if it is needed.
ONE LAST THING...
People ask why bother ordering prints when you can just get everything digitally nowadays? My answer is simple... Posterity. Don't get me wrong, I do offer digital images individually and as a package as well. However, it takes the uniqueness and quality to a whole other level when you decide on a physical memory.
People have tons of images stored on their computer, cell phones, and tablets... I get that... But how are you going to hang a flash drive on your wall to show your pictures off to your friends, family, and visitors? Why take the time and struggle to scroll through hundreds of photos trying to remember which one you liked? Why take the risk of getting your photos printed at a local provider and then be frustrated with the lack of quality they have?
How awesome would it be for someone to walk in your home and see a montage of wrapped canvas prints from some of your favorite images hanging on the wall? How much more will it mean to pass along heirloom photos rather than a flash drive to your loved ones?
Prints and other tangible artwork are designed to be enjoyed, not stuck in a drawer somewhere or stored on a computer that nobody will ever see. As I said... this is YOUR SPOTLIGHT MOMENT! Be proud and show yourself off to the world!
